When Microsoft released their first chunky, stylus-driven tablet in the early 2000s, no one expected tablet PCs to take off like they since have. The initial few models may have not been a huge success, but about a decade later tablet computers flooded the market. Established and well-known brands like Apple, Google, Sony and Samsung take up a large chunk of the market nowadays, but the problem, for many, is the price of their devices. That’s where Teclast comes in.

About Teclast

The demand for cheap, decent-performing tablets is being satisfied by Chinese companies. Even though Chinese tablets were initially meant to cater to budget-conscious techies and casual users alike, they have since evolved into great devices that, rightfully so, compete with big name brands. One of the fastest rising Chinese brands is called Teclast. If you’re not too familiar with this company, the information below might come in handy.

Founded in 1999, Teclast is a Chinese digital brand which devotes itself to Information Technology and consumer digital products. “Quality comes first” is their official slogan, but one might add “The low price is a close second”. They design, develop, and manufacture their own devices. Their tablets are becoming increasingly popular and even though some of our readers may not be familiar with this company, they have, over the years, gained over 80 million users – their optical storage devices, digital players, mp3 players, webcams, keyboards and other similar products are a combination of high quality and low price.

Teclast’s 2 in 1 tablets, ultrabooks and classic tablet devices are the perfect example of the company’s overall philosophy and approach to digital goods. A large selection of their devices is available on GearBest, Amazon, and similar e-commerce websites. Just like most of their products, their tablet computers are receiving industry recognition for their solid design, good performance and low price. Great value for the money is what this company is slowly but surely becoming known for – this shows in end-user as well as professional reviews.

TBook 12 Pro

A good example of Teclast’s product philosophy is the recently released TBook 12 Pro. This is a modern, compact, multi-purpose, versatile device that has just about everything similar, big brand devices have – except the worrying price tag.  The TBook 10 and the TBook 16, as well as the X98 Windows tablet are some of the best-known and best-selling Teclast products at the moment, but the company doesn’t seem to be slowing down. In fact, they are slowly finding their place on the Western market and successfully competing with other Chinese manufacturers, as well as big name brands.

The tablet market is desperate for some healthy competition and innovation, and Teclast is playing the part to perfection – they are asserting themselves as one of the leading Chinese tablet brands at the moment, without compromising quality and, most importantly, without increasing the prices of their goods. Whether or not Teclast will evolve into the most famous Chinese tablet brand remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure – they are certainly going down that road.
